Sergio Toribio, better known as "ChocolateRadio" or, simply, “Chocolate,” is characterized as a musical trendsetter, given his transcendence as one of the most important broadcasters in the Hispanic market in the United States. With a career that expands over 15 years in the world of entertainment, two of them working for Univisión Radio NYC and La X 96.3, where he made his way, as well as Mega Boston and Mega 94.9. He is a voiceover talent, content creator and ambassador for several brands, as well as host to some of the hottest events across New England, Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in Puerto Rico and, as of lately, recording artist and tour host for trap sensation Dowba Montana.

“The king of radio trap”, as his listeners have dubbed him, was the producer and host of one of the most-followed Hispanic radio programs in the tri-state area, the “Chocolate Radio Show,” previously Algarete Radio. The announcer highlights that the program came to shake hands with new talent to expand their music at the radio level in the United States, for example: New York Messiah and Tali; from Puerto Rico, Ozuna and Bad Bunny; and from the Dominican Republic, Lapiz Conciente and El Alfa.  Algarete Radio Show was a transcendental piece in boosting the careers of these artists who, today, enjoy great popularity. And that, at the same time, points out that Chocolate does not consider himself a king, but one more collaborator who has contributed to the solid diffusion of traditional rhythms such as merengue, bachata and salsa, especially Dominican salsa and the urban genre.

Since he has managed to capture the attention of the masses, Chocolate has served as a brand ambassador for different campaigns, his latest venture with TV NOVEDADES TV in the Dominican Republic.
